I started with State Farm for over 15 years ago, I started with Mike Doyle as my agent. Mike did an amazing job with mine and my daughterβs insurance needs. Mike left. My rates go up every year and I have to challenge the reason each time: once I drove more miles one year than last year (still under 10K) because we went on vacation. A micro burst landed in my front yard 2 years in a row, once totaling out my wifeβs car they said I was at fault. How? Over the past 4 years the service has gone down hill and customer service is not there. I shopped my rates and found my coverages cheaper, I called the office and spoke to a female who advised they do not negotiate, you can go cheaper but our service and coverage is better. I have been experiencing horrible customer service and wait times over a claim I currently have that was not my fault, another Mother Nature incident. The service is good as long as they are taking your premiums but when it comes to a claim there is no service and everything is a battle. I have never had a ticket or at fault accident and have been driving safely over 45 years.
